Vacation Bible School (VBS)

June 1st - June 5th 2026 from 10am to 2pm

Modern programs usually consist of a week-long program of religious education which may employ Bible stories, religious songs, arts and crafts, skits or puppet shows which cater toward elementary school-aged children. Groups of local churches who do not have the resources to run VBS for the entire summer may elect to co-ordinate their schedules to provide continuous childcare

Adults who attended VBS have overwhelmingly positive memories of the experience. About 69% of American parents will encourage their child to participate in a VBS event at a church they don't attend if invited by one of their friends. If you total it up VBS results in 15 hours of intense discipleship, the gospel being shared daily, and 7 months of ministry in 1 week. IT'S WORTH IT!
