Grief
Jesus invites us, “Come to Me. all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” (Mt 11:28)
Temptation
Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.” (Col 3:2)
“Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7)
“Be holy, as I am holy” (1Peter 1:16)
“No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.
Money/Finances
“Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for He has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’” (Heb 13:5)
Righteous living
“Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some” (Heb 10:24-25)
“We walk by faith, not by sight.” (2Cor 5:7)
“For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” (Col 3:3)
“Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.” (Col 3:5)
“Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.” (Col 3:12-15)
Marriage
“Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous. (Heb 13:4)
“Husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.” (Eph 5:28)
“Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them.” (Col 3:19)
“Let the wife see that she respects her husband.” (Eph 5:33)
“Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.” (Col 3:18)
“Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.” (Col 3:20)
“Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” (Eph 6:4)
Anger
Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger (Eph 4:26)
But now you also, put them all aside: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive speech from your mouth. (Col 3:8)
Sin
“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Heb 13:5)

Praise
Sing to God, sing praises to His name. (Psa 68:4)
Praise the Lord all you Gentiles, and let all the peoples praise Him. (Rom 15:11)
Let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name. (Heb 13:15)
Forgiveness
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1Jn 1:9)
Love
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. (Mt 22:37)
You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (Mt 22:39)
Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. (Mt 5:44)
Purpose
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (Rom 8:28)
